Dear Ivanhoe Families,

While the smile that could not have been pried off my face may have been a giveaway, I want to take this time to inform you of my assignment as Principal of Ivanhoe. It seems appropriate that I take a moment during this season of Thanksgiving to thank you for all your support and encouragement. You make Ivanhoe the type of school that makes getting up every day and coming to work an act of joy. There are times in our lives when what we are experiencing just feels right. For me, this is one of those times.

Each week will present new information, and it is my intent to keep you current regarding developments. There is an old English proverb that says it is an equal failing to trust everybody, and to trust nobody. It takes trust to put someone you love in the care of another. I cannot do this job without your trust. Therefore, if you have any concerns, I would ask that you share them with me so they can be addressed.

Sincerely,

Lynda Rescia
